How do I add a document to my Blackboard course?

Adding a Word document or PowerPoint presentation to a Blackboard course

  1. Open the Control Panel
  2. Open the Content Area where you want to upload the document e.g. Course documents.
  3. Open the relevant folder (if the document is to be stored in a folder).
  4. Click on the Add Item button.
  5. Give the Item a name.
  6. Scroll down to the Content section.
  7. Click on Browse. Find & select the file, then click Open.
  8. Fill in the rest of the form as required.
  9. Click on Submit at the bottom.
